It works closely with independent, organic and bio-dynamic producers to source its wines and bottles range between £14-100.
Perfect for when you simply cannot muster the energy to move an inch come the weekend, or want to send a special gift to someone. Yep, most of these fine wine shops will box up a few bottles and get them to your door in no time at all. Let’s all give thanks then for the beautiful service that is wine delivery in London.

We genuinely think heading into one of London’s best wine shops is preferential, so that you get the full experience of browsing the shelves and being able to ask the knowledgeable team any questions you have, but sometimes that’s not practical. One of our favourite things to do, and we hope you’ll join us in this, is to settle in for something to eat, try a few glasses of wine and then take a couple of the tried and tested bottles home with us, safe in the knowledge that we’ve bagged a couple of delicious drinks to enjoy at a later date. While there are of course some more traditional places to source bottles from on our list, there is also a good chunk of shops which are tucked away in the corner of a great eatery. Many of the best wine shops in London are actually found within restaurants themselves, which could just happen to be why we have a soft spot for them we suppose. These perfectly picturesque venues are commonly specialists in what they source and sell, so are great places to get advice and guidance on particular varieties or styles of wine.Īside from these laidback, modern interpretations of wine shops which more of than not major in natural wines, there are also the iconic outlets of old which transport you to a time gone by. Sure, there are plenty of places to find good old plonk for a Thursday in front of the telly (cue us browsing the shelves in Sainsbury’s for the best reduction and the prettiest label), but what about somewhere special to source a few bottles of fine wine to impress a date with or share with friends? Thankfully, there’s a new breed of bottle shop in town, and it’s all stripped back décor and bottles decorated with trendy illustrative labels. While wine shops in London might be ten a penny – if you’ll pardon the overused saying – really, really good wine shops have traditionally been a little harder to find.
